Dr. Haidar received his M.B.B.S. and is a member of the Royal Colleges of physicians, UK (MRCP). He received the King Saud University Fellowship in pediatrics while studying at the campus in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and was also granted the IDEAL Resident outstanding evaluation from the Arab Board, and th Pediatric Intensive Care Fellowship
He has worked as the senior consultant for pediatric critical care and is currently the CEO of the University of Science and Technology Hospital, Sanaa, Yemen. He is also an associate professor in the University of Science and Technology in Sanaa, and has shared in the teaching and examination of medical students, interns and residents in King Khalid University Hospital (Riyadh) and the Hamad Medical Corporation (Doha, Qatar). Hos teaching specialties include: PALS (AHA), Fundamental Critical Care Support Course (SCCM), BASIC course, and Evidence-Based Medicine. He supervises the postgraduate medical education program in hospitals in Sadaah, Saudi Arabia, and Hajjah, in Yemen.
Dr. Haidar was granted the Hael Saed Prize for the best medical research in Yemen for 1999 and currently participates in the educational activities of the Weill-Corniell Medical College in Qatar.
